ENCOUNTERS WITH ART: Artashes Hovsepyan

On June 23, at 18:30 the ENCOUNTERS WITH ART series of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) presents a special event dedicated to renowned Armenian sculptor Artashes Hovsepyan's 85th anniversary. 

The program includes: 

• 18:30 Sasuntsi Davit relief viewing in Sasuntsi Davit Gallery

• 19:00 Lecture about Artashes Hovsepyan’s artistic legacy
Speaker: Lilit Sargsyan, Art critic 

• 19:30 Screening of the documentary movie The Return of the Poet (2005, director: Harutyun Khachatryan)

The Encounters with Art program was launched at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts in October 2010, as a series of events dedicated to Armenian and international artists, as well as important cultural events.
