Encounters with Art: “Benjamin Britten – 100”February 13, 2014 The Cafesjian Center for the Arts in partnership with the British Council presents an event, dedicated to the centenary of world renowned British composer Benjamin Britten. In program: • Benjamin Britten in Armenia: memories by the president of the Composers Union, composer Aram Satyan • “Zvartnots Renaissance” Fund's Soloist Group will present pieces by Britten • “A TIME THERE WAS…” screening of film by Tony Palmer 1973 (Language: English, Subtitles: Russian) The admission to the event is free, by prior reservations and invitations only.
