G. Cafesjian 100 - Cancellation of postage stamp

On June 30, a souvenir sheet with one postage stamp dedicated to the theme “World Famous Armenians: 100th Anniversary of Gerard Cafesjian” was put into circulation.

The postage stamp of the souvenir sheet depicts the prominent Armenian-American businessman, benefactor, founder of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts Gerard Cafesjian (1925-2013).

The souvenir sheet was cancelled by the Head of Post Department of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Tsovinar Galstyan, the Chief Executive Officer of “Haypost” CJSC Shushan Aleksanyan, the President of the Armenian Philatelic Association Hovik Musayelyan and the Executive Director of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts Vahagn Marabyan.

Admission and Hours

Cafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open.
Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00.
Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00.
The Center is closed on state holidays.

From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm.
