ISOLATION! Urbanization versus Wildlife

March 12, 2013 – May 05, 2013
ISOLATION! Urbanization versus Wildlife Exhibition opens at Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts on March 12 at 15:00.

The exhibition ISOLATION! Urbanization versus Wildlife is a visual presentation of the alienation of man from nature. Artists presented at the exhibition explore the animal world and wildlife, drawing on their imagination and human experience. Capturing the playful, yet serious essence of the wild, the exhibition draws the viewer into the natural world.
The pivotal work at the exhibition is Frederick Prescott’s kinetic sculpture, New York. A vivid example of today’s urban overdevelopment. The kinetic, dynamic appearance of the “city” is in sharp contrast to the quiet presentation of animals and nature, opening a meaningful dialogue about the human environment, both natural and urban.

The exhibition will last till May 5, 2013.
