On May 17, towards the International Museum Day, the RA Ministry of Culture presented a nice surprise to the Cafesjian Center for the Arts on the occasion of the Center’s 10th Anniversary.  Mrs. Kathleen Cafesjian-Baradaran, President of the Cafesjian Family Foundation, was awarded with Gold Medal of the Ministry of Culture for Significant Contribution in the Museum Field of Armenia. 

Mr. Vahagn Marabyan, CCA Acting Executive Director, received the award on behalf of Mrs. Cafesjian-Baradaran, and expressed a deep gratitude to the RA Ministry of Culture for highly appreciating Mrs. Baradaran’s input and the Center’s activities.

Mr. Tigran Galstyan, Acting Minister of Culture, extended sincere congratulations on the 10th Anniversary of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts, describing it as a landmark of Armenia, which stands out for exemplary standards of programming and operations.

    On December 26, 2011, during a ceremony hosted by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the Cafesjian Center for the Arts received a Certificate of Gratitude from the Yerevan Municipality.   • Cafesjian Center for the Arts Announces the Closure of Ivana Šrámková's Exhibition
    The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) announces the closure of Ivana Šrámková: Geometric Forms and Images exhibition at Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery of the Center. The exhibition, opened in November 2010, for the first time in Armenia presented the works by Czech glass artist Ivana Šrámková from the Gerard L. Cafesjian Collection. The exhibition was also accompanied by a children’s program, Creativity and Imagination, administered in the exhibition gallery for children aged 6-12.
