Museum Night and International Museum Day at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts

On May 17 the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) will be celebrating the International Museum Day and Museum Night, by opening its galleries to the public till midnight for free.

The key event for the Museum Night will be the opening of unique exhibition Transforming Reality: Italian Design Innovation and Fantasy at Eagle Gallery along with the featured exhibitions Libenský Brychtová: Light Through Space at Gallery One and Friedensreich Hundertwasser: Regentag at Sasuntsi David Garden Gallery.

In parallel to the exhibition Friedensreich Hundertwasser: Regentag, CCA will also organize educational programs. 

Time: 12:00 - 1:30pm
2:30pm - 4:00pm

• Magical Labyrinth 
Inspired by the vibrant and whimsical works of the Austrian prominent artist Friedensreich Hundertrwasser the participants will create their “Hundertwasser” style colorful collages, using beans, rice, corn and other natural materials. 

Time: 5:00pm – 7:00pm

• City Hundertwasser 
Participants will be involved in creation of three-dimensional “Hundertwasser buildings” using the artist’s philosophy and architectural approaches.

Hundertwassers Regentag a film by Peter Schamoni revealing the fascinating portrait of Friedensreich Hundertwasser will be screened at the Special Events Auditorium.

On May 18 also the admission to all exhibition galleries will be free of charge till 8:00 pm.
