Summer Sculpture Garden Educational ProgramSeptember 13, 2014 In the first part of the program the participants will have a tour in the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden to get familiarized with presented artists and their animalistic works, artwork medium and execution technique. The second part of the program will continue at the Creative Hall of CCA, where participants will make new works with provided materials. At the end of the program, the participant families will make groups and introduce their selected works with pantomime. As a gesture of acknowledgment the families will gift each other their created works. The purpose of the program is to newly introduce the artworks of the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden to children and their parents in a joyful and creative museum setting. The program is designed for families with children of ages 5+. Considering the hot weather, we recommend that you take summer hats, to be protected from the sun. Admission and HoursCafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open. Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00. Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00. The Center is closed on state holidays. From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm. |
