The Planet is Mine Educational Program

The Planet is Mine educational program was implemented at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts on March 22, lasting till May 3, 2011. 

The program was based on the exhibition Henrik Nikoyan: Visions, opened on March 13, 2011, and aimed at encouraging environmental awareness among children of grades 6-12. The first participants of the program were the students of Nor Kharberd school N 2. The children had a tour in the exhibition gallery, a discussion on forest preservation moderated by environmental activist Tatevik Tamazyan (Society for the Protection of Birds) and a creativity workshop at the CCA Creative Hall.

The program partner was "ArmenTel" CJSC (Beeline brand).

  The Cafesjian Center for the Arts launched a new educational program "The Treasures of Nature" on November 8. The program was based on the exhibition Wonders of Nature: A Selection from the Gerard L. Cafesjian Collection and took place in Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery.

• The Miracle of New Year and Christmas

  At the end of the program, the children decorated the Christmas tree of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts.

• Journey through Colors

  On July 10, a new educational program titled Journey through Colors was launched at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA). The program was designed for children and adults and was based on the exhibition Haroutiun Galentz: Color as Form.
