The State Symbols of Armenia

The program is designed for schoolchildren and families.

During the first part of the program, the participants will be given a tour of Khanjyan Gallery and get acquainted with the famous three-part mural of the renowned Armenian artist Grigor Khanjyan. Focusing on the third part of the mural – “Armenia Resurrected” – the participants will learn, with the help of a presentation, about the creation and significance of the state symbols of Armenia – the tricolor flag, the coat of arms, and the national anthem.
During the second part of the program, the participants will prepare bookmarks and design them with tricolor ribbons and images of the state symbols.
The goal of the program is to teach the participants about the history and significance of the national symbols through art. This program is also a great opportunity to revisit Grigor Khanjyan’s work.

Participation is free, with prior reservation.
